Day 2: Blyde River Canyon

You are on the so-called Panorama Route. The name is no coincidence because, on today’s drive to the Blyde River Canyon, you will experience magnificent views of the Mpumalanga Lowveld plain, the picturesque gorge at your feet, and the rock towers “Three Rondavels”.
Look forward to a great landscape with plenty of potential for your favorite photo.

Check-in at your accommodation near the Kruger National Park for a 2-night stay. (Breakfast & Dinner)

Overnight: Radisson Safari Hotel Hoedspruit

Day 3: Kruger National Park

The world-famous Kruger National Park is home to countless species of animals, large and small, including the famous “Big Five” – elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion, and leopard! There is a lot to discover on today’s full-day safari in an open jeep through the huge, protected area, and one highlight chases the next.

Your guide knows the best sighting spots and will provide you with exciting information along the way. After this eventful day, you can enjoy a relaxing evening and enjoy the sunset from the terrace of your lodge. (Breakfast & Dinner)

Overnight: Radisson Safari Hotel Hoedspruit

Overnight: Bohemian Guesthouse

Day 5: Knysna

From Johannesburg, you fly to George, in the middle of the Garden Route. You will check into your accommodation in the pretty lagoon town of Knysna. The village is picturesquely nestled between the forests of the Outeni-qua mountains and the lagoon. On the famous waterfront, numerous restaurants, shops, and cafés invite you to stroll. The secret capital of the Garden Route is one of the most popular holiday destinations for South Africans.

Here you can enjoy a delicious dinner right on the water with a magnificent view. 2 nights in Knysna. (Breakfast & Dinner)

Overnight: Rex Hotel

Day 6: Plettenberg Bay

Drive to the Robberg Nature Reserve near Plettenberg Bay, where you take a short hike with your tour guide (easy, approx. 2 km, walking time: 45 minutes, +/-50 meters in altitude). The 175-hectare area is dominated by a rugged coastline, spectacular rock formations, and steep rocks.

Here you can enjoy unique views. Afterward, you will gain insights into the community and life in the townships of South Africa on a guided tour of Plettenberg Bay.

You can end the day at the beautiful Waterfront. (Breakfast)

Day 7: Cango Caves

Drive over the picturesque Outeniqua Pass and through the arid Little Karoo to Robertson. Along the way, visit the famous Cango Caves, an impressive labyrinth of caves, passages, and rock formations. All caves have extensive stalactite formations of impressive size.

In the afternoon, you will reach the wine region and enjoy your beautiful country hotel! (Breakfast)

Overnight: The Lab Robertson

Day 8: Robertson

May not be as famous as the Stellenbosch wine region, but it is particularly popular with the locals. The region fascinates with the warmth of the inhabitants and the breathtaking landscape. In the morning, you will visit a winery, where you will take part in a picnic and wine tasting.

You will then drive to Cape Town for a 3-night stay. (Breakfast & Light Lunch)

Overnight: Old Bank Hotel

Day 9: Cape Town

In the morning, you will explore one of the most beautifully situated cities in the world on a guided tour. You will visit the Green Market Square and walk through the district with the candy- coloured houses, the Cape Malay district. It is one of the most historically interesting corners of Cape Town.

If the weather permits, take the cable car to the top of Table Mountain and enjoy the almost limitless view. Spend the afternoon at the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, which is full of restaurants, cafes, and entertainment options. Optionally, a boat tour to the prison island

Robben Island is possible (bookable on-site). A day in a city that will be remembered! (Breakfast)

At Cape Point, the southernmost tip, a stunning view awaits you. Climb the viewpoint on foot or choose the cogwheel train (optional, bookable on site). On the way back to Cape Town, stop at Boulders Beach and check out the penguin colony that lives here.
