About South Africa

South Africa is the continent's most multifaceted travel destination: Big Five safaris in the Greater Kruger ecosystem, one of the world's great cities in Cape Town, spectacular coastal drives along the Garden Route, and the vineyard-covered valleys of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. Kruger's network of private reserves, particularly Sabi Sand and MalaMala, offer some of Africa's finest predator encounters on exclusive open vehicles with night drives. Cape Town's combination of Table Mountain, the Cape Peninsula, world-class restaurants, and the Cape Winelands makes it a destination in its own right. South Africa is Saringi Tours' most popular multi-experience destination, where bush and city combine seamlessly.

Parks & Regions

Kruger & the Private Reserves

South Africa

Kruger National Park is Africa's most famous safari reserve and South Africa's greatest natural treasure: a 19,485 km² wilderness stretching along the Mozambique border in Limpopo and Mpumalanga. The park and the network of private game reserves bordering it (Sabi Sand, MalaMala, Timbavati, Thornybush) form the Greater Kruger ecosystem and offer some of Africa's finest Big Five safaris, with exceptionally high predator density and the largest diversity of land mammals on the continent (147 species). Private reserves operate open 4x4 game drives including night drives and guided bush walks. The nearby Panorama Route adds the dramatic Blyde River Canyon and God's Window viewpoint as a spectacular scenic complement to any Kruger itinerary.

Cape Town & Garden Route

South Africa

Cape Town is one of the world's most celebrated cities: a cosmopolitan hub framed by the iconic Table Mountain, the Cape Peninsula's dramatic coastlines, and the fertile wine estates of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. The Cape is also an extraordinary biodiversity hotspot; the Cape Floral Kingdom holds more plant species per square kilometre than the Amazon rainforest, while Boulders Beach shelters a colony of African penguins and Hermanus is one of the world's best land-based whale watching destinations (June–November). The Garden Route winds through indigenous forest, lagoons, and coastal cliffs, with highlights including Tsitsikamma National Park, Knysna Lagoon, and the Bloukrans bungee bridge. Cape Town and the Garden Route combine effortlessly with a Kruger safari for a complete South Africa experience.
