Delta Camp

Delta Camp is one of the Okavango Delta's most intimate and atmospheric small camps, a remote permanent camp in the private concession on Chief's Island within Moremi Wildlife Reserve, accessible only by light aircraft or mokoro from Maun. The camp's nine Meru tents are set in a stand of real fan palms and jackalberry trees on a permanent island, creating an authentic, unhurried delta experience.

Delta Camp's specialist activities, motorboat game drives through the floodplains, guided mokoro (dugout canoe) poling, and walking safaris on the islands, deliver a multi-dimensional delta experience that few other camps match. The permanent island location ensures year-round wildlife access, and the exceptional bird-watching (over 400 species recorded) adds depth to the mega-fauna game drives.
