Xakanaxa Camp

Xakanaxa Camp is a classic tented camp in a prime position within Moremi Wildlife Reserve, one of southern Africa's richest wildlife areas, where the permanent delta channels meet the terrestrial game drives of the reserve's eastern woodlands. The camp's 12 tents overlook a lagoon that is consistently busy with hippo, crocodile, and exceptional bird life including fish eagles, saddle-billed storks, and African darters.

Xakanaxa's dual access to both water (motorboat game drives) and land (4×4 game drives within Moremi) makes it one of the Okavango's most complete wildlife bases. The resident predator populations, lion, leopard, wild dog, and hyena, are exceptional, and the camp's experienced guiding team navigates both the aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems with equal skill.
