Entebbe Forest Lodge

Entebbe Forest Lodge is a comfortable and characterful small lodge set in the indigenous lakeshore forest of Entebbe, close to the shores of Lake Victoria and within 15 minutes of Entebbe International Airport. The lodge's position in genuine tropical forest, home to colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, hornbills, and over 200 bird species within the lodge grounds, makes it one of Uganda's most unusual and appealing transit properties.

For safari guests arriving into Entebbe or departing early the following morning, the Forest Lodge provides an exceptional alternative to conventional airport hotels: the birdsong, forest walks, and lakeside atmosphere of Entebbe's botanical garden area make even a single night here memorable. The lodge also serves as a comfortable base for Entebbe activities including the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (Uganda's best chimpanzee encounter for those without time to trek to Kibale).
