Ishasha Wilderness Camp is a beautifully positioned small camp in the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, the remote southern section famous for its unique tree-climbing lions, which regularly lounge in the branches of large fig trees along the Ishasha River. The camp's 8 tents are set in a stand of riverine forest on the Ntungwe River, providing excellent game-viewing from the camp itself and easy access to the fig trees where the lions are most commonly found.

As the only permanent camp in the Ishasha sector, Wilderness Camp delivers a genuinely exclusive wildlife experience with virtually no other vehicles encountered on game drives. Elephant, buffalo, hippo, Uganda kob, and the tree-climbing lions make every game drive in this remote and rarely visited corner of Queen Elizabeth National Park extraordinary.
