Summer 2027 Zambia Safari: Lower Zambezi & Victoria Falls
This 7-day Zambia luxury safari is designed specifically for travel from July through September 2027, when the Lower Zambezi is in its dry season and wildlife gathers along the river. Three fully inclusive nights at Lolobezi combine game drives with canoeing, boating and professionally guided walking safaris, while electric vehicles and boats make wildlife encounters unusually quiet and immersive.
A light-aircraft flight then connects the Lower Zambezi with three nights at Thorntree River Lodge inside Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. The stay includes a guided Zambian-side visit to Victoria Falls and time for optional rhino tracking, scenic flights or a relaxed day beside the upper Zambezi. The published rate applies to two adults sharing; groups of more than two receive a customized package and group-specific quotation.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrive at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in Lusaka, where you are met and assisted with your onward connection. A light-aircraft flight of roughly 30 minutes carries you east over the escarpment into the Zambezi valley, landing at Royal Airstrip. Your guide meets you and drives you to Lolobezi, set on a private stretch of riverbank with the Zimbabwean escarpment rising on the far side. Settle in over a late lunch, then spend your first evening on a gentle boat cruise as elephants cross the channels and hippos begin their evening chorus. Dinner is served on the deck.
