Overview

The classic Kenya–Tanzania safari with an extra night in the Serengeti: more time to track the Great Migration, explore the Serengeti's different ecosystems, and follow the wildebeest herds across the Mara River. Lake Nakuru, three nights in the Maasai Mara, three nights in the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and two nights in Tarangire. Begins Nairobi, ends Arusha.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

Pick-up at 7 am from your Nairobi hotel or airport and drive to Lake Nakuru. Arrive mid-morning for a game drive before check-in. Lunch, then an afternoon game drive around the soda lake: flamingos in spectacular numbers, Rothschild giraffe, waterbuck, and the park's black and white rhino.
